December 12, 2018 the West Suburban AHEPA Chapter 202 held their Christmas party at Greek Islands restaurant in Lombard, Il. District 13 Governor Themis Frangos and other officers of the AHEPA District 13 lodge attended the Christmas party along with former Supreme Lodge officers Tom Gober (Past Supreme Treasurer) and Nick Kavadas (Past Supreme Governor).
The Chapter surprised Past Chapter President Vasilios Albanos with multiple awards but the most honored recognition is that the Chapter unanimously approved and declared a new name to the Chapter. West Suburban Chapter 202 will now be renamed to be the Vasilios Albanos Chapter 202.
Vasilios was also honored by the District 13 lodge with a certificate of appreciation honoring Vasilios dedicated service and commitment to the Order of AHEPA at the Chapter, District, and National levels.
In addition, a AHEPA Presidential Citation was issued by AHEPA Supreme President George E. Loucas and presented to Vasilios by Past Supreme Governor Peter Masters.
AXIOS Vasilios!
The AHEPA Supreme President Citation read as follows:
2018 AHEPA Presidential Citation
presented to
William Albanos, PhD.
Past National Board of Auditors and Past Chapter President.
In recognition and grateful acknowledgment of exemplary services, distinguished contributions and steadfast dedication to the high ideals of the Order of AHEPA during your membership in AHEPA Vasilios Albanos Chapter 202
Fraternally,
The 2017 AHEPA Supreme Lodge
George E. Loucas
