AHEPA-DOP FRIENDS AND FAMILY DAY AT THE PARK

Join AHEPA 205 and DOP 441 for a Friends and Family Day at the Park joint event on Sunday, May 18 beginning at 3:00PM.  The event will be held at the Fullersburg Woods Nature Center located at 3209 Spring Road, Oak Brook, IL (map).

The event is open to all members, their families and friends.

 There will be food, activities, sports, tavli, and more!  Please RSVP for the event at ahepa205chicago@gmail.com so we can have a count for the food.  See everyone on May 18!

District 13 Sports Awards Banquets

District 13: 58th Annual Sports Awards Banquet

This year’s annual Sports Awards Banquet will be held at the Fountain Blue. Let’s gather to celebrate an achievement our kids hold by excelling in sports. Please view the attachment to determine if the high school or college student is eligible to be honored or for a scholarship. It is our mission to honor as many student athletes as possible. We invite anyone who wishes to attend the Banquet to attend. Let’s fill the room with audience and applause as we honor these hard working students.

Annual Chicago Greek Heritage Parade: Come Ride the AHEPA Float Sunday, April 6th

The entire AHEPA family (DOP, SOP, MOA) from Districts 12 and 13 is invited to ride on the float or march along.  AHEPA will be float #4.  The parade starts at 2:30pm. Please arrive at the float by 1 pm on Halsted just South of Van Buren.  Parade map below for reference.

AHEPA 205: Project Hope

Chapter 205 is partnering with the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago on Project HOPE. The mission of Project HOPE is to provide food security not only to children, families, and individuals living within the parishes of the Metropolis. It is also an outreach to all members of our community who strive to achieve food security. We need volunteers to help pack food.

Location: Holy Apostle Greek Orthodox Church

District 13 is hosting this fundraiser to help send a student to the “Journey to Greece” summer education program. Journey to Greece will send a student to Greece for 6 weeks, taking classes, and touring the country while earning college credits.
