DOP: Penelope House
Daughters of Penelope - Penelope House fundraiser
The mission of Penelope House is to provide safety, protection, and support to the victims of Domestic Violence and their children through the provision of shelter, advocacy, and individual and community education. Help us support these individuals by making a $25 donation or $25 Walmart gift card to help them purchase basic needs.
You can also make a donation direct to the Penelope house. Share the attached flyer to make others aware.

Chapter 94 - North Shore is hosting their Monday Night Football/Cigar Night. This event is open to everyone. Tell your friends and family to come out and enjoy the game with great company. Meet new people, socialize, and network!

AHEPA National Golf Tournament
AHEPA National is pleased to announce the details of the Spring AHEPA National Golf Tournament. We are playing at Saddlebrook Resort just outside of Tampa Florida on April 3-8. Practice round will be Sunday April 4. Tournament will be Monday APRIL 5. Tuesday April 6 and the finals on Wednesday April 7. The banquet will be held Wednesday evening on April 7.
There are a few different options to chose from. Please see the attachment for details
What you need to do to Register:
Call the resort at 813-907-4464 and make a $200 deposit.
Email Me or Sandy and let us know which package you would like…also let us know who you would like your roommate(s) to be.
Fill out the attached credit card authorizations form for admin fee and sponsorships and send it to me at chris.atsaves@ubs.com
The resort will charge to your room for the rounds of golf and for accommodations. The admin fee will cover the cost of the banquet dinner and gifts and prizes.

Chptr 205: Taverna Night
Join AHEPA Chapter 205 on Friday, October 9, at Mykonos Greek Restaurant (8660 W Golf Road, Niles, IL) as we host Taverna Night. The event beings at 7:00 PM and all tickets include food, beer & wine, and a complimentary raffle ticket for a chance to win a grand prize of $3,000.
All proceeds from the evenings will support the chapter’s educational and philanthropic programs, including the Hellenic History Tournament, Back-to-School program, Holiday Toy Drive, Feed6, educational scholarships, and more!
Individual tickets are $125/person and include food, beer & wine, and a complimentary ticket. Raffle tickets separately are 1 ticket for $100 and 3 tickets for $250. Every 10th ticket drawn wins $100 and the Grand Prize for the raffle is $3,000. Winner does not need to be present to win.
Thalia 441: Steps of Strength

Funds donated from this 5K will support Penelope’s House and The Smile of the Child. Aiding domestic violence survivors in the US and providing vital assistance to children in need throughout Greece.

JACMA: Popcorn Fundraiser
Maids of Athena JACMA is hosting our annual popcorn fundraiser. These funds help us with our service projects and donations throughout the year like Toys for Tots and Food Pantries. The popcorn is the Double Good brand. It is great tasting popcorn. Please share the flyer and QR code with everyone. You won’t be disappointed with the popcorn.
The fundraiser begins at 9AM on September 22 and runs through 9AM September 29.
AHEPA Golf at Costa Navarino in Greece

We have booked rooms for 48 players along with accommodations at the fabulous Westin Hotel at the resort. We will play 4 rounds of golf along with a group dinner and a farewell Banquet. We currently have room for 48 players. Based on early interest from the group. We can ask the resort for more rooms to accommodate more players. We are waiting to hear back from them. We have arranged club rental for $100 for the entire week. For those that want to stay extra days, our discounted room rate will apply.
This is how the reservation process will work.
You will need to be a active member of AHEPA to reserve a spot. If you are not an active member and wish to attend…you will need to join. Current active AHEPA members will be given priority.
You need to respond to this email to let me know that you are interested in attending.
You will need to make a deposit of $500 to secure your spot by Dec 31st. Deposits will be refundable up until April 15,2026.
You will need to pay in full by April 15, 2026 to guarantee your spot.
You will need to stay at the resort to participate.
You must play at least 3 rounds to be tournament eligible.
All payments need to be made through the AHEPA. Please do not call the resort or the golf courses in Greece to reserve.
The fee that is quotes on the flyer is in US dollars not in Euros. We have already done the conversion for you.

Dist 13: Regional Golf Tournament
District 13: AHEPA Midwest Regional Tournament
We crown 5 Champions from different flights (by handicap). We will pay for the transportation cost for those 5 Champions to participate at the next AHEPA National Golf Tournament. The National Golf Tournament will be hosted in Spring 2027. This gold event is open to everyone, there is a gust flight for who not AHEPA members. Consider a sponsorship for this event.

Chapter 205: Cubs Greek Heritage Night
Join AHEPA on Monday, July 20, for Greek Night at the Chicago Cubs! The Chicago Cubs will be playing the Detroit Tigers. Tickets are $75/person and include a limited-edition Greek themed jersey. The game begins at 7:05PM.
Chapter 205: Back to School Backpack Drive
Join AHEPA Chapter 205 in making an impact at the start of the 2026-27 school year, through our annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive. Each child receives a brand-new backpack filled with all the necessary school supplies. Over 1,000 backpacks were distributed throughout the Chicagoland area in 2025 in collaboration with the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and the 15th District of the Chicago Police Department (through the Westside Program). With the community members’ donations of funds and of time to assemble the backpacks, and with the Hellenic Foundation of Chicago’s financial support, we aim to help the kids off to a great start again this new school year! Chapter 205: White Sox Heritage Night
Join AHEPA Chapter 205 for our 11TH ANNUAL group outing to the Chicago White Sox Greek for a night of fun and fellowship. We are anticipating over 500 people this year! AHEPA Chapter 205 will donate all proceeds from this event towards educational and philanthropic programs.
Tickets are $35/each (normal face value $40) in outfield reserve. Ticket + White Sox Patio Tailgate Pass are $85/each (includes two hours of tailgating on the White Sox Patio Deck with unlimited food and beer, wine, and soft drinks, and being able to take one drink to your seat). Each ticket includes a limited-edition “Hellas” Chicago White Sox jersey.

This year’s annual Sports Awards Banquet will be held at the Fountain Blue. Let’s gather to celebrate an achievement our kids hold by excelling in sports. 2026 Spring Golf Event
2026 National Spring Golf Event
The 2026 Spring AHEPA Golf Tournament will take place in Chandler Arizona. Golf will be played at the Whirlwind golf resort. We have arranged accommodations at the Gila River (Wild Horse Pass) Casino and Resort.
Practice round is Sunday April 19 (1:30) tee time
Tournament is Mon-Wed. …with the Banquet on Wednesday eve.
You will need to call the Hotel and Resort to book your room. Golf and admin fee will be collected by AHEPA. You need to submit the Credit Card Authorization form to pay for golf and admin fee and any sponsorships.
There is a link on the forms where you can book your room online…or you can call 520-796-4900.
AHEPA has been to this resort in the past. Golf and accommodations are truly amazing. We look forward to seeing everyone attend.

Chapter 205: Offers HOPE
We are excited to partner with the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago for the Chapter 205’s second annual Project HOPE (Humanitarian Outreach and Philanthropic Engagement). The mission of Project HOPE is to provide food security to those children, families and individuals in our community who are in need. Please follow your heart and help us make this event a success by donating for the purchase of non-perishable food items and volunteering your time to package them. Chapter 205: Blackhawks Greek Night Outing
Be part of Greek Night as the Chicago Blackhawks take on the Winnipeg Jets. AHEPA Chapter 205 is hosting a group outing to the Blackhawks and each ticket includes a special limited edition Greek themed Blackhawks hat!

AHEPA District 13: NCAA March Madness Watch Party and Cigar Night
Come out for a great night of basketball games as we kick off the NCAA Division Men’s Basketball Tournament. The proceeds go to our “Journey to Greece”. This scholarship pays for a student to study in for six weeks, viewing historical sites, and creating memories of a lifetime. Non-Smokers are free to attend this event, it’s held on an semi-enclosed outdoor patio with heaters.
