2026 Spring Golf Event
2026 National Spring Golf Event
The 2026 Spring AHEPA Golf Tournament will take place in Chandler Arizona. Golf will be played at the Whirlwind golf resort. We have arranged accommodations at the Gila River (Wild Horse Pass) Casino and Resort.
Practice round is Sunday April 19 (1:30) tee time
Tournament is Mon-Wed. …with the Banquet on Wednesday eve.
You will need to call the Hotel and Resort to book your room. Golf and admin fee will be collected by AHEPA. You need to submit the Credit Card Authorization form to pay for golf and admin fee and any sponsorships.
There is a link on the forms where you can book your room online…or you can call 520-796-4900.
AHEPA has been to this resort in the past. Golf and accommodations are truly amazing. We look forward to seeing everyone attend.

AHEPA District Scholarship Banquet
AHEPA District 13 Scholarship Banquet - SAVE THE DATE
Every year the District 13 Scholarship Foundation provides thousands of dollars to hard working students to help with their education. Join us as we celebrate their achievements on Tuesday May 12. Supporting our scholarship program by donating and attending this events provides a springboard of confidence to the students.
More details will be provided as the date gets closer.

AHEPA Sunday
District 13 asks all chapters to host coffee hour at their local church. Put up your chapter banners, signs, and chapter members wearing pins. Display your chapter to the community, make everyone aware of who we are, what we do, and how we make a difference. The District will post any chapter’s photos and write-up on the website to share with all.

We have booked rooms for 48 players along with accommodations at the fabulous Westin Hotel at the resort. We will play 4 rounds of golf along with a group dinner and a farewell Banquet. We currently have room for 48 players. Based on early interest from the group. We can ask the resort for more rooms to accommodate more players. We are waiting to hear back from them. We have arranged club rental for $100 for the entire week. For those that want to stay extra days, our discounted room rate will apply.
This is how the reservation process will work.
You will need to be a active member of AHEPA to reserve a spot. If you are not an active member and wish to attend…you will need to join. Current active AHEPA members will be given priority.
You need to respond to this email to let me know that you are interested in attending.
You will need to make a deposit of $500 to secure your spot by Dec 31st. Deposits will be refundable up until April 15,2026.
You will need to pay in full by April 15, 2026 to guarantee your spot.
You will need to stay at the resort to participate.
You must play at least 3 rounds to be tournament eligible.
All payments need to be made through the AHEPA. Please do not call the resort or the golf courses in Greece to reserve.
The fee that is quotes on the flyer is in US dollars not in Euros. We have already done the conversion for you.

The higher ranked team, according to the CFP rankings, will be on the top and the lower ranked team on the left.

Maids of Athena is hosting a Toys for Tots drive for Luries Children’s Hospital. The toys will be provided to the Hospital’s treasure chest for kids to select a toy from when they visit for a treatment. the treasure chest program runs all year round.

AHEPA National Golf Tournament New Mexico
AHEPA National: Golf Tournament New Mexico
Pleased to announce the AHEPA National fall golf tournament. This year’s event will take place November 4-9 in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico (near Albuquerque).
Hotel Location: Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa
Golf Courses: 2 different golf courses (Twin Warriors and Santa Ana).
It will be the first time we have gone to New Mexico for a National Tournament. Wednesday November 5th is the practice round. The 3 day tournament will begin Thursday morning Nov 6. We will conclude with a banquet on Saturday evening Nov. 8. Breakfast every day is included in the price.
Registration Process:
mail Chris Atsaves or Sandy and let us know you are coming. If you come and know your roommate…let us know that as well. We will make reservations for you at the resort. You will not get charged until you arrive at the resort.
We will need everyone to pre-pay for golf and admin fee. That is being collected by the AHEPA. 4 rounds of golf is $600 and admin fee is $150. You will need to fill out the credit card form and send/email to Rory at AHEPA HQ or to me at chris.atsaves@ubs.com.

Join Chapter 205 on September 6th at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lincoln Park. Consider a donation of your time and/or funds used bicycles in any condition for this outreach ministry supported by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago which provides free bicycles, locks, lights and helmets as well as free maintenance to Chicagoans in financial need.

Join AHEPA, along with family and friends, and members of the Greek community, on Wednesday, August 20 at 7:05PM for our group outing to Chicago Cubs for Greek Night at Wrigley Field. The Chicago Cubs will be taking on the Milwaukee Brewers.
Tickets are $85/person and are all located together in the infield terrace reserve section on the main level. Each ticket includes a limited edition “Greek” themed Chicago Cubs jersey designed by a local Greek artist.

Chapter 205: Back to School Backpack Drive
Join AHEPA Chapter 205 in its mission to help kids start off the school year on a positive note. This year AHEPA Chapter 205 has an ambitious goal of assembly and distributing 1,000 backpacks with the support of the Hellenic Foundation of Chicago. The Hellenic Foundation will match all donations for up to 500 backpacks donated (1,000 total goal). Each brand new backpack is loaded with all the necessary school supplies that a student will need. 100% of all donations raised to benefit those in need. You can make a donation at the link below.
